The Planets Prestige Booklet contains text, in English and Irish written by Professor David Fegan, School of Physics, University College Dublin. It gives a brief introduction to the cosmos, planetary formation of both our solar system and extra solar planetary systems, and briefly touches on the ultimate question of whether there is life on other planets.

The booklet contains four stamp panes, each featuring the four stamps and is further complemented by superb images of the solar system and the cosmos in general.
